Local shares its love

Local 1010 President Kelley Joe Clark and Local 1010 Trustee and AO Chief Steward Carrie Duncan shared the donation of scarves, gloves, mittens and hats to the Community Action of Southeast Iowa.

Community Action serves all the communities in Southeast Iowa and will insure the donation is shared with those in need.

We thank all of our members that took the time to share their generosity. As unionist we reach out to lift up all of those in our communities.

We hope to have a goal of even more for next year so that our love and generosity can be felt even more.

If you have any questions of what you can do to help for next year, please feel free to reach out to any of your local lodge leadership.

Trunks of Love

This Monday and Tuesday the IAMAW Local 1010 will be collecting scarves, gloves, mittens and hats to be donated to Community Action of Southeast Iowa. Community Action will then distribute the donation throughout the communities in Southeast Iowa to children in need.

In this season of hope, let your hearts be full and share the joy of giving to those that are in the most need of the hope we can provide.

Remember that a unionist looks out for their entire community, not just the few.

Donations can be made this Monday and Tuesday at the Local 1010 Machinist Hall. Donation times will be in the mornings from 5:00-7:00 am and in the evenings from 4:00- 6:00pm.
